You may need them or they may need you.
One thing I'd have to know before referring anyone, is the work quality and customer service of the shop.
If I send someone to a shop for whatever reason, and they have a bad experience, it would reflect negatively on me.
I'm also anti-toolbars.
msconfig... Use the Startup in Ccleaner "Tools" section.
You can also use the Glary Utilities "Startup Manager" to disable, delete or delay items in startup.
One tool for you to check out...
SUMo (Software Update Monitor), from KC Softwares. It scans the system and checks for updates on software installed. Some AV programs might flag the utility.
