I just saw this. Totally awesome. This will greatly minimize driver hunting, a big time consumer.

Just tested the 2000/XP driver pack. Just super. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...relief

It installed the chipset driver, ATI Radeon x700 Pro drivers, NIC driver, and sound driver.

I've got an older machine from 2002. I'm going to install 2000 and Vista onto it to see how it handles drivers for that computer.

I am trying to make a stand alone driver folder to use on my usb drive. This is for Vista/7. When I get to the point where I select the driver packs to slipstream, they are all grayed out and I can not select any. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I am following Lalo's Better PC Tech video.

Anyone know if the program is experiencing any bugs?
When I try to use the Base to update all my drivers, an error message appears stating that "xyz driver is not available".
Any ideas?

BTW-this tutorial is excellent and really appreciate the time/effort of making it, thanks lalo

If you try to update per lalo's guide, I believe that method is no longer usable? You have to go & get each driver pack separately as they have remove that update feature on the Base... :(

This software is no longer usable without doing all the packs manually and that just sucks. The whole point is to save time. Their forums say they have disabled the auto update feature for lack of funding. Now it is all torrent based ><
