hey fellas

my client doesn't yet get the cloud back'up idea even, so they still prefer the hook'up external drive and copy paste way but I told them I know a software that can do that automatically, the thing is I forgot which one but I thought by the time I get back to them tomorrow you guys would help me out

I want to hook'up their usb drive permanently to the pc, then the sofware needs to back'up the documents daily to the usb drive but here's the thing, it's got to detect the new files that have been added and chances to those files and back them up. the current machine is a windows 7 ultimate

oh, forgot to mention it's got to be free :) these guys are really tight

I agree, Syncback is one of the best free backup programs. Here's the download link for the free version.

Hey Reballer.
Its defiantly free. But they do make the free version harder to find. I've been caught out a few times trying to find the correct download link.
It's a good program with a lot of features.

Cobian backup is awesome free and you can set it to run automatically. The latest version is called Gravity. "http://www.cobiansoft.com/cobianbackup.htm". It allows you to kept a number of full backups.
