Just getting a feel on music...

Ok so while serving my time at Doc's lab (aka VVTC) most of the computer kids that I was there with listened to HxC (hardcore rock) which is the screaming and fastest instruments. I know what Doc listened to because his class was decorated with Jimi Hendrix posters, The Doors, basically your Gods of Rock. I was just wondering what everyone listened/listens to now. For me, hardcore rock, metal, and acoustic music (head scratcher huh?).
