I'm a fan of ubuntu desktop/server. I also really liked crunchbang on my eeepc, it ran extremely well. Not used it since it's switch to debian. Just started using backtrack for some experiments.

I guess I'm kinda vanilla with all this Ubuntu spread all over the house.

Netbook - Dual boot Windows 7/Ubuntu 10.10
Audio PC - Ubuntu 9.04
Home Theater - Mythbuntu 10.10
Kidz PC - Dual XP Home/Ubuntu 9.04

I used to run Ubuntu Netbook Remix, then Kuki, then Dream, but I hate the netbook interface. I just want the Forward button up on the screen where I can see it.

I love this topic because every time you turn around there is another distro that I have never heard of. I guess I need to spend more time on Distrowatch. That long list mocks me. So much curiosity - so little time!

my dell laptop that came with win7(didnt know about frostbite systems at time of purchase) is now 10.04 LTS
my wife bought a dell with ubuntu 9.04 LTS and we've since updated to 10.04 LTS
the tv comp is xp due to the fact that it's strictly for netflix
the gaming rig is dual boot winxp and ubuntu 10.04 LTS

distros i've touched and loved
archbang
crunchbang
debian
mint
all the ubuntu (lu, xu, ed, and studio)

i liked bodhi but i like what bloat i have and the features that come with it. enlightenment desktop is pretty kickass but if i really want to run lean with right click drop menus i would just as well use crunchbang or archbang

I'm using Ubuntu 11.04. I'm in the military so my goal is to get it to read my CAC card and I'm constantly pushing for the military to switch over to linux. One of the largest budget expenses is for military so if we can save here and there it would only better us all. Also, could you imagine the advances that would be made if linux was used by the entire military.
Anyway, I'm testing the best I can so I can telecommute and work remotely.

I am running Linux Mint 10 on my Samsung Netbook and my 2nd desktop at work. I am also running Linux Mint 11 on a desktop. It will soon be on the nervook. My main laptop is an HP dv7 running Ubuntu 11.04. Also running PCLinuxOS with E17, Peppermint one and Linux Mint LXDE on virtualbox. (I Will figure out how to network these)
