Need some advice on the following repair as I'm new to apple repairs. I have a customer who left a heavy object sitting on top of her macbook case. Now the keyboard is not responding at all. Apart from buying a new keyboard/topcase cover, is there anything else I should check.

sorry i know it's very late but I assume it's long fixed, but I bet you didn't need to buy anything else but the top case.

macbook or macbook pro top case sofar consist of keyboard, power button, palm rest, touchpad, keyboard backlight all in one peace one connector. if it still powers on and boots to osx and just the keyboard doesn't work anymore then all you need is a new top case.

Buying
there are two choices, used original or brand new faked, I'd go for used original even if its slightly aged.
