Re episode 61 talking about USB to Ethernet adapters.

My favourite is made by a company called SMC and the model number is SMC2206USB/ETH

Loads automatically when plugged into Windows XP but sadly no drivers for Vista - Windows 7

Ethernet Cable sometimes stops registering after I bring my computer out of sleep mode. How can I fix this? I can still use the wireless connection, but its terrible compared to the hard wire connection. Unplugging and plugging the ethernet cable back in does not help. If I reset the computer, the problem goes away temporarily until I go into sleep mode a few times. It seems to be random which instance of sleep mode will stop my computer from recognizing the ethernet cable. Help please.

I use a USB wifi thing. I keep the drivers (it's in an install package) on a different USB drive. It works to get connected quickly and reliably.

Hi Doc. Although it lists Vista and 7, both of those options yield 'Sorry, there were no downloads matching your search criteria.'
