Just upgraded a user to Outlook 2010, ever since he's unable to save .vcf files/vCards from Outlook 2010 to network locations. I tested and confirmed this on my end too with my PC and on our terminal server. It doesn't give you any errors or anything, just looks like it saved it and closes the save as dialog box, but then nothing shows up. What is weird is that you can save it locally, then move it to a network location and it shows up just fine. Everyone I've bounced it off of says "Outlook bug!"..haha..any thoughts?

Hi!
If you are saving single files you can just drag and drop the .vcf files/vCards from Outlook Contacts to the location where you want to save them. If you want to save a contacts list (or the entire address book), do the following:
• In Outlook Contacts, go to the File tab >Options > Advanced.
• Click Export.
• In the Import & Export Wizard, select Export to file
• In Create file type, select the file type you want
• Next you will be prompted to select your contacts folder and the folder to which you’re saving
• Now Save and Finish.
If you have Windows 7 you can do this from the local folder. Go to C://user/contacts, there you will have an export button. Once clicking Export a wizard similar to that of outlook will open up, just follow its instructions. One note in this case: you must create a folder within the local contacts folder (e.g. C://user/contacts/Backup List) and place in it the contacts you want to save for the Export button to appear.
Good luck! :geek: Mika
