Hi Steve and Cody,I was listening to your podcast recently for the first time and I like it very much. It’s a pity that I didn’t discover it earlier, I have to catch up a lot now :-)You mentioned several times that you have some experience in penetration testing. I am also very interested in this field, at the moment I am preparing for my CCNA certification because I think that would be a solid foundation. However, I am not sure which way to go after that. Of course I played a little bit with Kali Linux because it is often said to be the de-facto standard as a pentesting distro. So I saw that Offensive Security also offers certifications in pentesting. Have you heard about this and do you have any experience with it?

In general, what would be the way you would recommend to learn penetration testing so that I can work professionally in IT security afterwards?

All the best,

Marcus
