Remember the customer I had
and I erased all of his data?
(He was very understanding)

I finally got his motherboard in.
Replaced it called him for pick up.
He came in to pick it up
and he brought with him his Quick Books CD
for installation.
The CD drive would not open. Dead.
I see his adapter for the CD drive
that allows it to work sitting on the table.
Very quickly I unscrewed his entire laptop
and attached the adapter – 4 minutes tops.
Screwed it all back together and powered on.
Thank God the CD drive opened this time.
Installed Quicken and copied his data over then
noticed his wireless adapter was not lighting up.
Wireless card was halfway out of the slot.
I just had to reseat it. Job Done. Out the door.
