  • Use advanced search terms, for instance within a category
  • Know your hardware terms such as bezel for searching
  • Use wildcards such as asterisks(*) in search
  • Search tips: include store inventory
  • You can use search terms like google including the minus sign to exclude certain items
  • sometimes a whole laptop may be available for the price of the part you’re looking for, the extra parts may be usable for other jobs
  • For an laptop LCD replacement, sometimes you can find the whole lid for the same price
  • Look for OEM part numbers on name brand parts such as motherboards
  • Look for variations in model numbers using wildcards
  • For selling obscure parts or parts that will take time to sell, you should open an ebay store
  • To open an Ebay store Steve D. recommends a minimum of a 100 parts to sell
